Elegoo OrangeStorm Giga Config Improvements
Reyt then;
Enable Webcam:

Extruder Calibration:
If you prefer to do the calibration yourself or this doesn't work for you try this https://www.3docity.com.au/pages/klipper-calculators
- Go onto the printers fluidd web interface
- Go into Configuration and Open znp_thr1.cfg
- Look for the [extruder] section and under that find
rotation_distance: 31.4 #Bondtech 5mm Drive Gears
- Comment out the line by adding a # to the start of it like this
#rotation_distance: 31.4 #Bondtech 5mm Drive Gears
- Add a line under it with this variable
rotation_distance: 28.845
- Save and Restart
- To ensure this is correct, mark 100mm above your extruder ptfe tube, heat up the nozzle and extrude 100mm of filament, the mark should then be bang on with the start of your ptfe tube
Superior Bed Mesh Calibration:
Note: I am using rigid bed mounts and a 1 piece bed sheet
1 piece bed available from Ivy Zhang @ Starlit Industrial Company, look her up on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/share/17W3mT2Prt/?mibextid=wwXIfr
Rigid bed mounts machined from alu (30mm tall, 8mm diameter, 4.2mm internal diameter hole to allow the m4 bolts with a little extra) x36
Lots of companies can do this for you, google aluminium standoffs. If you are in the UK or Europe I recommend https://ogsecure.co.uk/products/cnc-aluminium-standoff-spacer-m4-3-50mm?variant=40686671364157

- Comment out samples_tolerance: 0.05 by adding a # to the start of that line and add another line with
samples_tolerance: 0.03
- Look for the [bed_mesh] section
- Comment out fade_end: 30.0 by adding a # to the start of that line and add another line with
fade_end: 10.0
- Do a level routine via the Elegoo screen, it will take a long time. I never remove my sheet so never had to do this twice. I personally then disconnected the Elegoo screen and never used it again, I do everything via the Fluidd interface.
